For companies wishing to register with Osborne
Cawkwell
Osborne Cawkwell is a Registered Body with the CRB and can help various
companies obtain standard and enhanced disclosures.
Companies wishing to register with OC as an umbrella body to carry out their
staff’s CRB checks should contact crb@oc-ec.com, explaining who they are and
what the company does.
If we are able to help, your organisation will be sent some paperwork to
complete the registration.
Our fees are as follows:
A one-off £50* registration fee
Standard disclosures cost £40* each
Enhanced disclosures cost £58* each
*Please note that these fees are inclusive of our admin charge and VAT.

For Osborne Cawkwell tutors
As an OC tutor you are required to obtain an enhanced disclosure from the
Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). An Enhanced Disclosure is required for those
regularly caring for, training, supervising or being in sole charge of
children. We accept disclosures that have been issued by another organization
in the last year before meeting you. If you do not have a recent one or have
never applied for one, you will apply through OC. Once the process is complete,
you will receive your own disclosure at your home address.
To apply for an enhanced disclosure, we need you to bring the following items:

A chronological list of your addresses for the past 5 years (including post
codes), starting with your current address and ending with where you lived 5
years ago

Cash or a cheque for £30 made payable to Osborne Cawkwell (please note, this
price is for OCEC tutors only as we subsidize part of the payment)

Your national insurance number

Proof of identity - we need to see a minimum of 3 original documents:
TWO of the following ...

passport
-
driving licence (with the paper counterpart)
-
birth certificate
... and ONE of the following which must show your current address:

P45/P60, Bank or P45/P60
-
Bank or building society statement (not more than three months old)
-
Utility Bill (not more than three months old)
-
TV Licence
-
Credit Card Statement
-
Store Card Statement
-
Mortgage Statement
-
Valid Insurance Certificate
-
Financial Statement (Pension, endowment, ISA)
-
Valid NHS Card
If you do not have any documents from the first list, then we require you to
bring five documents from the second list.
