Osborne Cawkwell recruits tutors with high academic qualifications from all
disciplines. We do not necessarily require tutors to have previous teaching
experience; we look for tutors with spark and energy, and the ability to
communicate and inspire.
The most commonly requested subjects for tuition are maths, the sciences,
French, English, history, Latin and geography. We also provide tutors in
subjects such as Spanish, German, Italian, Greek, Russian, politics, economics,
psychology, religious studies, ICT, sociology, art, history of art and music.
We receive requests from clients for general tutoring at primary level; school
entrance exams at 7+, 8+, 11+ and 13+; G.C.S.E., AS Level, A Level; IB Level,
STEP and S Level. We also provide tutors for students sitting the SAT
examinations to American universities and for students needing help preparing
for interviews to Oxford and Cambridge. We occasionally deal with tutoring
requests from students at university level. Students range from the very able
to those who struggle in an academic environment.
