Born...August 1988
Formative years spent...in North West London,
squabbling and running amuck with her many siblings.
Mind honed at...the Convent of Jesus and Mary
(A-Levels in English Literature, History and Theology) and Aberystwyth University
(BA Hons in English and History).
First Student...Laura hasn't taught before but
hopes to do so this academic year, so watch this spaceā¦
Since that has...subsidised her degree and
various adventures through selling sticks of rock in a sweet shop in Brighton and
preaching of the health benefits of various herbs in Aberystwyth's Maeth Y Meysydd
Wholefoods.
She's also...travelled to many far flung places,
such as New Zealand and South Africa; explored Europe by plane, train and automobile,
visiting cities such as Dubrovnik and Istanbul; sailed along the French coast and
had a poem published when she was 10 (a feat of which she is still very proud!)
What else...Laura has a passion for hot beverages
and enjoys forcing cups of tea or coffee onto friends and colleagues. She enjoys
cycling (a passion that is contended when faced with an upward incline), regular
trips to the seaside, and whiling the evening away in a good pub.
